Coffee Shop - Cafe Lua

Carlton never had to try hard to keep its coffee capital mantle, except maybe the last few years. My sense was that it was losing it's lustre and maybe was only the place for tourists. I stand corrected, Cafe Lua is a lovely, quiet and authentic coffee house offering great coffee. Angus the owner is on the tools, clearly relaxed as he pours the next coffee in his sarong (I feel like I am in Thailand. Clearly a favourite with the studious pupils from Melbourne Uni. There seems to be a frenzy of reading going on as the dark nectar flows. I like this place; Authentic, comfortable and welcoming.
